The RCSI Fellows, Members and Diplomates Conferring Ceremony took place on Monday, 1 July 2024.
The awards conferred included:
- Fellowship and Memberships of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland,
- Fellowship in Urgent Care Medicine
- Fellowship of the Faculty of Radiologists and Radiation Oncologists
- Fellowship and Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry
- Membership in General Dental Surgery
- Diploma of Primary Care Dentistry of the Faculty of Dentistry
- Fellowship and Membership of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine
The College also conferred two Honorary Fellowships on Dr Michael T. Longaker and Professor David Nott.

FutureNeuro, the Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) Research Centre for Neurological Diseases, has announced an ambitious expansion of its research programme dedicated to accelerating the fight against brain diseases. i am inspired . whay to admation criteria
As a nurse this motivates me, seeing applicants from a range of degrees and backgrounds. Currently preparing for the GAMSAT test and although I don't meet RCSI entry criteria I'm ok for another uni and I hope to get into medical school for 2019. Thank you for such an inspirational video.

Physicians are divinely guided. The Bible even recognizes the role of physicians in taking care of patients. The physician has the intuition, expertise, experiences and divinely guided knowledge that the internet will never have. The physician can also give that positive reassurance that can kickstart the healing process whether it's psychological, emotional or physiological. The computer is a passive knowledge. It doesn't know your individuality or care who you are. With the physician, there is human care and touch which the computer or internet can never provide.
More people should be informed about this. It is especially important for the current generation growing up on all of this technology.
